Slatted Custom Barn Doors

Slatted barn doors feature no curvature in the wood or grooves/spaces in the door. Although they lack texture, they more than make up for it with their clean lines and crisp edges.

Things to Keep in Mind When Selecting Custom Barn Doors

If you have neutral walls with no pattern, then you should be able to incorporate virtually any custom barn door design that you want. However, if you do have textured walls or patterns via a wallpaper, then you need to be a little bit more careful about your selection. Putting one pattern against another has the potential to create a clashing effect. For instance, you wouldn't want to incorporate a barn door design with vertical lines against a wallpaper pattern with horizontal lines.
