Cancellations: All orders are individually crafted and cannot be canceled once a deposit has been received. All deposits are non-refundable.

Alterations: Any alterations will require a revised quotation and drawing approval, potentially incurring a 5% change order fee. Given the bespoke nature of our products, cancellations or returns are only permissible with written consent from an authorized Walston representative. The initial deposit is non-refundable, even if a cancellation is authorized. In such instances, Walston reserves the right to bill the Buyer for all expenses exceeding the original deposit.

Product Variations & Tolerances: Walston Architectural Products employs materials and methods that can result in minor variations in color, pattern, and texture, which are inherent to the unique appearance of each product. We advise clients to purchase sufficient material to complete their entire project at once to reduce these variations. Please note that we cannot ensure a pattern match from panel to panel if they are not ordered simultaneously, nor can we ensure dye lot color or saturation consistency for orders placed at different times. These can differ in size, shape, color, density, thickness, and texture within a single sheet, contributing to the natural beauty of the materials. Our 3D laminated panels may exhibit slight imperfections such as depressions, glossy areas, air pockets, embedded particles, mottling, and irregular textures and inconsistent textures. All dimensions and squareness are subject to a tolerance of 3/16" (4.7mm).

Expedited Orders: A non-refundable expedited order fee will be applied to cover additional costs associated with prioritizing production and delivery. This fee will be specified in the quote provided and order MUST be paid in full. Expedited orders are contingent upon the existing production capacity and availability of materials in stock.

Pricing: All prices quoted are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of the quote unless otherwise specified. After this period, prices are subject to change without notice. All prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties, and other charges. These will be added to the invoice and are the responsibility of the purchaser. Payment terms are specified on the quote. All orders are subject to acceptance by Walston Architectural Products and reserve the right to reject or withhold delivery of goods until full payment is received at our discretion. Walston Architectural Products reserves the right to adjust prices due to changes in raw material costs, labor rates, and other factors beyond our control. Such adjustments will be communicated to the purchaser prior to order confirmation. Certain products may have minimum order quantity requirements. These requirements will be specified at the time of quotation or order placement. All prices are FOB origin, and shipping and handling charges will be added to the invoice. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping and handling costs unless otherwise agreed.

Sale & Use Tax: The purchaser is responsible for all applicable sales, use, excise, and similar taxes imposed by federal, state, or local authorities, unless a valid exemption certificate is provided. Prices quoted may exclude taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise. Any additional taxes or fees imposed after the initial quote may be added to the invoice. Walston Architectural Products reserves the right to adjust pricing to reflect changes in tax rates or laws imposed after the date of quotation or order confirmation. Once sales tax is paid, it cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Payment Terms: Purchaser agrees to pay Walston Architectural Products the specified purchase price along with all applicable taxes, fees, and shipping charges as detailed in the customer quotation. To initiate production, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required, unless otherwise arranged. The remaining balance must be settled before the order is shipped, payments made by check, or orders totaling less than $5,000.00, which require full payment upfront. For transactions made using a credit card, a 3% transaction fee will be applied at the time of purchase. Due to the customized nature of our products, cancellations cannot be accommodated after order confirmation and deposit. Orders that remain unpaid for more than 90 days after completion will be considered abandoned, resulting in forfeiture of the deposit and disposal of the product without prior notification. In the event that final payment is not made, and Walston Architectural Product incurs costs for collection or legal action to recover the balance, Buyer agrees to bear these expenses.

Answers to some frequently asked questions:

All of our doors and wall panels are hand crafted in our North Kansas City shop so there is some wait time. Our goal is quality craftsmanship which generally takes 6–10 weeks for door production time, 1-2 weeks for wall panels. Freight shipping can add an addition 3-7 business days. All of our times are ESTIMATES and not guaranteed or by any means a commitment. If you need your products quickly please inquire about our expedite fee.

Your door(s) and hardware (if ordered) will arrive in a custom wooden crate. If a large wall paneling order is placed it may ship on a pallet. Most crates/pallets can be handled by 4 or more strong people but some circumstances may be better handled with a forklift. Depending on the freight terminal, some crates will be considered oversized (usually if it is over 90" long) and the carrier may require help getting the crate off the truck. Some carriers will require the crate to be picked up from the terminal in an "oversized" shipment. Walston Architectural Products and the freight company are not responsible for any additional costs for oversized shipments. If you have a difficult to navigate street you may have to meet the truck and receive the shipment at the closest point to your curbside as possible.

In the rare event that there is an issue, it's important to carefully follow the instructions below
to ensure that your shipping claim can be resolved.

All freight companies are required to allow you up to 15-30 minutes to inspect your delivery for damage or missing parts. This means that you should make a complete inspection of your shipment to check for dents, cracks or broken parts. We highly recommend opening each box regardless of how it looks to inspect for damage that may not be obvious.

In the event that your order is damaged (minor or major), it should be noted by writing the
word "DAMAGED" on both the driver copy and your copy of the BOL, along with a description of the damage.

It is critical that the driver also sign and initial both copies of the BOL if any damage is present. By noting damage on the driver's copy, this ensures that there is written proof that damage was noted at the time of shipping. By having the driver sign your copy, this ensures that you have proof that the driver signed in your presence.

Walston Architectural Products will need a copy/picture of the delivery receipt noting damage within 12
hours. Please email these immediately to contact@walstonap.com along with supporting photos of the damaged shipment. Damage claims may not be accepted if these steps are not followed carefully.

FYI: Wooden crates are not waterproof and are not intended to be left outside for any
length of time. Leaving crates outside may cause damage to your product.

Yes, you must be home/onsite to sign and accept a freight delivery from Walston Architectural Products or through the freight shipping carrier. If you are not there at the scheduled delivery time or if you are late, the freight shipping carrier will charge a wait fee that you will be responsible for paying. Wooden crates are not waterproof and are not intended to be left outside for any length of time.

No, they will not. Please keep in mind that LTL deliveries are different than small package and they are only responsible for lowering the gate lift to your driveway. They are not responsible for helping you carry the crate into your home so we highly recommend having help available as it will be a couple hundred pounds.
